WHAT ARE THEY ALL ABOUT?
Our Enterprise Days are designed to put large groups of students through their entrepreneurial paces. These events are high-paced, energetic and fun and usually comprise of inspiring talks from one of our Enterprise Ambassadors, a series of short masterclasses and a business pitching challenge at the end of the day.
The key outcomes include sparking students imagination, starting the thought process about business as a career pathway and developing their skills. Enterprise Days also enable schools and colleges to demonstrate their commitment to business and enterprise in a high-profile way.
Each of our enterprise days consist of three workshops that are relevant to the challenge and cover vital areas that are essential for running or starting your own business.
After being put through their paces in the short masterclasses, students are given a bespoke business challenge to create their own business. This challenge can be set by us or by the school/college and normally culminates in a pitching session at the end of the day.
To help structure students’ thinking whilst they carry out their business challenge, we get them to work with Business Model Canvas. This is a tried and tested method for mapping out the different aspects of a new (or current) business and really highlights the interconnectivity of the different parts of a business.
During this time, our team also work with each group to develop their brand including providing time with someone from the marketing field to work-up a draft logo.
Our Enterprise Ambassadors are entrepreneurs, freelancers and experts in their field who are dedicated to supporting he growth of enterprising mindsets in young people. Our ambassadors are inspiring individuals who come from all different sectors, walks of life and parts of the country. We use Enterprise Ambassadors to provide masterclasses in their area of expertise as well as tell their story and act as positive role models.
