The Enterprise Academy is happy to announce that we have launched our short course at Ryde School on the Isle of Wight. We are working with 10 young and inspired students to bring them our 12 week programme which focuses on exposing them to key topics that foster an entrepreneurial mentality.
During the first 3 weeks of the program our young entrepreneurs will look into their passions and the wants and needs of their communities to come up with a business idea they want to pursue for the remainder of the programme. During the remaining 9 weeks, students will look at concepts such as business mission and vision, marketing and branding, creating an effective team and pitching. By exploring and understanding these key concepts students will be able to come up with robust and well rounded business ideas.
By the end of week 12, students will have created an industry standard pitch as well as a business model canvas (BMC) based on their concept. These pitches and BMCs will then be presented to a panel of local entrepreneurs who will evaluate their business concepts and provide insightful feedback on their businesses as a whole. The short course will culminate with each student receiving a certificate for their participation as well as with an opportunity to be paired up with a mentor to further develop their business idea.
We are truly looking forward to the weeks ahead!
